Strategic Account Manager

We are seeking to add a Strategic Account Manager to our growing Sales team. At VRP Consulting, we help implement and evolve the Salesforce platform to all sizes of customers in all industries so your focus will be helping our customers get more from the platform to drive additional services revenue.

Reporting to the RVP of Sales, you will be responsible for managing and growing an existing set of high opportunity, strategic accounts, mainly in the USA. Your core remit is to ensure customer retention and satisfaction, build and maintain relationships at board level and recommend our solutions to help our customers meet their strategic objectives. Initially you will be looking after 5-8 customers.

You enjoy the process of building long-term relationships with your most valuable accounts. You believe that exceptional customer service beyond expectations drives revenue growth. You are skilled at creating new opportunities within existing key accounts and driven to help companies grow faster than the market and the competition. You possess a high level of attention to detail, be a proven good listener and have strong questioning skills. You have experience operating in a complex sales process with long sales cycle, high order values and you know how to sell services around Salesforce clouds.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategically manage and grow the existing accounts and help our customers get more from the platform, resulting in additional services revenue

Develop excellent client relationships and maintain focus on company values

*

Ensure customer retention and satisfaction

*

Build and maintain relationships at board level and recommend our solutions to help our customers meet their strategic objectives

*

Identify all upsell opportunities within each account and increase revenue across existing accounts

*

Understand customer requirements and build presentations to address business needs

*

Coordinate responses to RFPs and support the creation of proposals and Statements of Work

*

Be promoter of our brand and the products we deliver

*

Represent VRP Consulting at trade exhibitions and events

*

Stay abreast of new product offerings from channel partners and incorporate them into selling efforts

*

Work collaboratively with Executive Management, Sales Leadership, Account Management & Service Delivery to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction and revenue growth with existing customers

*

Maintain an accurate pipeline of all opportunities, contacts and account history within our CRM System, Salesforce

*

Forecast accurate monthly and quarterly revenue
