My client, a leading organisation in its sector, is currently on the lookout for a highly motivated and driven Service Desk Engineer to join their growing team to support the increasing client-base, which is made up of SMEs from a wide range of sectors. This position provides an excellent opportunity to gain on-the-job training as-well as formal qualifications and offers a strong foundation to excel your career to the next step.
Acting as the 1st point of contact, the position includes duties such as monitoring the busy ticketing system, with issues ranging across technologies such as Office 365, Active Directory, Windows Server, Virtualisation tools, networking and more.
Experience providing 1st Line Support
Active Directory & Group Policy
Office 365 – Admin portal
Knowledge of Windows Server 2012 & 2016
Understanding of Hyper V & Citrix
Networking knowledge – Routers, Switches, WAPs, Firewalls, DNS, DHCP.
Windows & Mac OS's
Hardware builds and updates
Endpoint threat management products
Excellent written & verbal communication skillsSkills that will make you stand out:
CompTIA A+ & Network+
