IT MANAGER | Lamport| Full Time| Competitive Salary
The Claven Group Limited, based in Lamport, Northamptonshire, established for over 30 years, is one of the UK’s leading specialist customer field visit business providing support to a range of sectors including finance and insurance. We have a field force of over 180 vetted and accredited agents based across the UK. We are regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.
We have a great opportunity for an experienced IT Manager to join this exciting and dynamic business, holding responsibility for all corporate systems, security and IT assets, as well as the day to day running and development of IT services offered to stakeholders. A competitive salary depending on skills, knowledge and experience will be provided. You will report directly to the Managing Director.
With a strong background in support and infrastructure, the IT Manager will oversee key functions to enable the delivery of a high quality service ensuring processes are in place to meet business needs.
The position will see you working collaboratively with Board members, clients and colleagues requiring you to establish and manage expectations whilst striving to achieve a high standard of service.
If you have strong critical thinking and decision making skills with an excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases, data storage and phone systems we would love to hear from you.
Previous managerial experience of leading staff and projects, rolling out IT infrastructures across the business
Ability to support end users with desktop and standard software issues
Proactive support of server/infrastructure maintenance
Ability to maintain and improve information security measures including GDPR compliance, Cyber/IT security, ISO27001 and Penetration testing
Able to engage and build relationships with key external support
Experienced in system administration
Proficient in Microsoft windows server environment, Microsoft exchange online and Microsoft windows desktop environment
Previous experience/knowledge of the following would be an advantage:
Third party vendor management
Asset management including software licences
IT project management
Security tools, networking and firewall technologies
Virtual server and cloud based technologies
Azzure and Office 365
MS SQL & Reporting Services
