Frontend Vue.js Developer

Location: UK Remote (UK-based candidates only)
Contract: Rolling 3-Month Contract
Rate: £250-£300 per day
IR35 Status: Outside IR35

Overview

A growing technology-led organisation is looking for a Frontend Vue.js Developer to join its software engineering function on a contract basis.

You'll work within a smaller agile squad responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining key business systems and integrations. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to modern frontend applications while collaborating closely with engineering and wider business teams in a fast-paced environment.

The Role

You will play a key role in the development and enhancement of business-critical systems, contributing to both technical delivery and engineering best practices.

Working closely with senior engineers and cross-functional stakeholders, you'll help design and build scalable frontend solutions while supporting ongoing system integration and platform improvements.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and enhance key frontend business systems using Vue.js
Collaborate with engineering teams on technical design and system improvements
Support integration between internal platforms and applications
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
Contribute to technical decision-making and architecture discussions
Perform code reviews and maintain high development standards
Produce clear technical documentation
Communicate project progress, risks, and issues effectively to stakeholders
Support continuous improvement across engineering practices and delivery processes

Required Skills & Experience

Strong commercial experience with Vue.js
Experience developing scalable frontend applications
Solid understanding of Agile delivery methodologies
Experience working within cross-functional software engineering teams
Ability to contribute to technical design and architecture discussions
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience performing code reviews and promoting engineering best practices
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
