UAT Test Manager – 6 Months – Inside IR35 – Remote with ad hoc travel

Responsible for leading and managing all testing activities related to the deployment and integration of a new platforms across the programme. This includes Service Now and Snow. This role involves planning, coordinating, and executing comprehensive test plans to ensure the platform meets business requirements, performance standards, and quality benchmarks. The Test Manager will work closely with external suppliers, Delivery Leads, development teams, business analysts, stakeholders, and end-users to ensure a successful platform implementation

Duties & Responsibilities:

Develop a comprehensive test strategy and plan for the new platform implementation.
Define test objectives, scope, and success criteria, ensuring alignment with programme goals.
Facilitate UAT sessions, providing support and guidance to end-users and stakeholders.
Monitor and report on test progress, results, and defect status.
Identify opportunities for test automation and implement automated testing frameworks where applicable.
Utilize and manage test management tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM, Selenium, etc.).
Maintain comprehensive testing documentation, including test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test reports.
Generate and distribute detailed test status reports and metrics to stakeholders.
Key skills:

Proven strong Stakeholder Management experience
Successful experience of UAT and End to End Testing
Understanding of agile, waterfall and hybrid delivery life cycles
Experience of Risk Management and understanding of Risk Based Testing
