Our central government client are currently looking for x3 Test Managers to join their team on a new contract.

Contract Length: 6 months

Location: WFH is currently. In the future there may workspace available in one of the 14 sites, so not required to be based in Plymouth Office.

IR35: INSIDE IR35

Pay Rate to Candidate: £600 UMBRELLA

Qualification ISEB Foundation in Software Testing

Experience of managing multiple workstreams

Experience in managing testing at all levels (unit through to performance)

Experience in managing and reporting on risk and implementing mitigation plans

Experience in automated testing tools and techniques.

Experience of continuous integration practices.

Experience of creating robust Test Strategies and Test plans to ensure quality

Experience in SAGE CRM product

Description:

Develop test strategy and assistance in development of associated test scripts. Provide technical assistance to the test teams in setting up environments and provide feedback and analysis on test activities/results. Produce test plans and reports as required. Analyse and identify business risk areas and impacts. Identify user requirements to enable test execution.

The Test Manager is accountable for the ensuring that quality is built into development of all solutions at all stages within the development lifecycle. The Test Manager is accountable for providing expert practice advice and guidance as well as practical advice on complex technical testing issues at project level. The role is accountable for driving forward the quality agenda in the development of IT solutions and devising and monitoring progress using a range of quality metrics. The Test Manager is responsible for developing capability within the test discipline and increasing knowledge & understanding of the importance of building in quality across the wider development community.

Qualification ISEB Foundation in Software Testing

Experience
