Job Title: Data Analyst (SQL)
Location: Hybrid, North Yorkshire (2-3 days pw in the office)
Overview
We are seeking a Data Analyst (SQL) to support the development and maintenance of SQL databases, data pipelines, and reporting datasets. You will work closely with BI and reporting teams to ensure data is accurate, reliable, and ready for analytics.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain SQL code (views, stored procedures, functions) in SQL Server
*
Support ETL/data pipelines (e.g. SSIS or similar tools)
*
Assist with data modelling for reporting and analytics
*
Troubleshoot data quality issues and optimise queries
*
Provide ad hoc SQL queries and datasets for reporting teams
*
Document solutions and manage version control using Git
Requirements
*
1–4 years’ experience with SQL Server and T-SQL
*
Exposure to ETL tools (SSIS, Azure Data Factory or similar)
*
Understanding of relational database design
*
Experience using Git in a team environment
*
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
*
Right to work in the UK
Desirable Skills
*
Experience with Power BI or similar BI tools
*
Exposure to Azure data services
*
Basic scripting (Python or PowerShell)
