SQL Data Engineer / SQL Developer / SQL Engineer – Central/City Of London (Currently Remote Working)

Our client is a world leading climate and environment protection research organization based in the City Of London:

-Over 50 offices across the world and growing rapidly with 850+ employees;

-Providing cutting edge system for 9000+ companies, investors and 1000 cities for them to use data and insights to manage their environmental impacts and make financial decisions on $100 trillion assets;

-Working with most comprehensive collection of self-reported environmental data across the world

They are looking for a SQL Data Engineer/SQL Developer to join their dynamic and friendly London Data Engineering team to improve the usability of their climate change research data:

-Creating data pipeline using core SQL competencies SSIS, T-SQL, Stored Procedures, SQL database, ETL for data quality monitoring, data cleaning, reporting and data science modelling;

-Managing data requirements and providing documentation;

-Implementing data flows for analytics and BI systems and re-engineering data flows;

-Working closely with data architects and data scientists to determine data management systems and analysis;

-Maintaining data structures and database integration;

-Migrating traditional MS to Azure;

-Providing value-adding insights through data products and help stakeholders and investors to understand results and make data led decisions

Requirements:

-Strong working experience in core SQL, SSIS, T-SQL, Store Procedures, building ETL;

-Working experience in migrating traditional MS to Azure with good knowledge in Azure technology such as Azure Devops, Azure Data Factory, Data Bricks;

-Knowledge in Python is a big plus;

-General interest in climate change and environment protection is a big plus

It's a permanent position paying £45k to £48.5k base salary depending on experience plus 30 days annual leave (plus all bank holidays), flexible working opportunity and general benefits. Currently 100% remote working until further notice
