Software Engineering Manager – Hybrid – 85k – 90k

Here at Khuda Technology, I'm working with a client who is seeking a Software Engineering Manager. This role requires strong skills in establishing and managing software development programs and a solid understanding of the needs of a typical software development team using C++, Java, and Python.

Key Responsibilities:

-Interface with internal and external customers as required.

-Foster a strong working relationship with software team leads and ensure processes are in place to support their work.

-Compile progress reports and manage budgets and estimates to completion.

-Contribute to greater alignment on tools and practices across teams to streamline development processes.

-Field, triage, and address day-to-day issues from program teams as they arise.

-Work closely with other subsystem leads to track dependencies and promptly address issues.

-Set up and chair program reviews at different stages of the software development lifecycle.

-Understand industry best practices and integrate them into programs with minimal disruption.

-Oversee the day-to-day management of the software engineering scope, ensuring the development program remains on track.
