Senior Solutions Architect needed at my rapidly growing defence and security client. My client leads by example in providing cutting-edge technology solutions that secure mission-critical processes for commercial enterprises and public sectors. We innovate with precision, ensuring our clients operate without bounds in a secure, seamless digital environment. This role is central to driving our strategic vision and delivering robust solutions.

Performance Objectives

* Design and deliver end-to-end secure architecture solutions, aligning with enterprise goals and industry standards.

* Lead multi-disciplinary architecture teams through complex project lifecycles, ensuring integration with existing infrastructures and processes.

* Develop and implement strategic architectural plans that support innovation, scale, and the client's evolving operational needs.

* Engage and influence senior stakeholders to gain buy-in for architectural initiatives and drive transformative outcomes.

* Evaluate emerging technologies and frameworks for applicability within client environments, setting new standards for cyber resilience and efficiency.

* Continuously enhance and adapt architecture to accommodate business growth, ensuring omni-channel solutions are forward-compatible.

* Achieve architectural excellence through rigorous standards, governance, and best practices, ensuring compliance and security at every layer.

Environment & Resources

You will lead and collaborate with a dynamic team of architects, engineers, and security professionals. Utilise state-of-the-art design tools, secure communication channels, and a significant budget allocation for innovative projects. Report directly to the Head of Services.

Essential Qualifications

* Proven experience in solutions architecture within the Defence tech or information security sectors.

* Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman) and cybersecurity principles.

* Exceptional problem-solving skills with a track record of architectural innovation and execution success.

* Advanced stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas to diverse audiences.

* Hands-on experience with cloud architecture, microservices, and cybersecurity solutions.
