Job Title: Senior Project Manager

Location: Portsmouth (Hybrid working model)

Salary: Between £55k-£70k

Job Type: Permanent, Monday-Friday

The Role

My client is seeking a well experienced Senior Project Manager to join a fast-paced team delivering software solutions for some of the biggest financial services institutions. The successful candidate will be able, as well as responsible for the delivery of a strategic programme of work to one of the firm's biggest clients. The successful candidate would have experience managing Agile software projects.

Duties and responsibilities:

To understand the business requirements of the project and to be able to define resource and deliverable requirements and plan to be able to deliver the project.
Act as the primary point of contact with the customer and to be able to develop relationships with key stakeholders.
To be able to manage key project risks as well as issues and dependencies.
To set priorities and to manage as well as monitor the delivery teams, ensuring effective delivery of the project to the time, quality, and cost expectations.
To lead both customer and internal meetings. (Sprint Planning, etc…)
To prepare project documentation as well a revenue forecasts and general statements of work.

The Candidate

Minimum of 5+ years of experience of project management experience whilst managing multiple projects at the same time.
Experience in both the software and financial services industries
A proven track record of successful software project delivery through the full project lifecycle
A solid background in Agile software development as well as it's principles and using project tools like Azure DevOps
To be able to manage cross-disciplined teams (Business Analysts, Developers and Testers)
