Position Details:

Job Title: Scrum Master-Payments

Location: UK, Chester (Hybrid-3 days a week onsite)

Responsibilities:

* Facilitate and lead Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

* Coach and mentor team members on Agile principles and practices to promote self-organization and cross-functionality.

* Remove impediments and foster an environment conducive to high-performing team dynamics, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

* Collaborate with product owners to prioritize and manage the backlog, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.

* Track and communicate team progress and metrics to stakeholders, identifying and addressing risks and issues proactively.

* Support the adoption of Agile frameworks and best practices across the organization, promoting a culture of transparency and accountability.

* Act as a servant leader, guiding the team through challenges and facilitating discussions to reach consensus and decisions.

Requirements:

* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.

* Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification.

* Proven experience as a Scrum Master in a banking or financial services environment.

* Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, principles, and practices.

* Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to influence and motivate others without direct authority.

* Experience with Agile tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar tools.

* Familiarity with banking industry regulations and compliance requirements is a plus
