Job Description

Python Developer – £75k – Fully Remote – Early Stage Startup – Digital Twin

I am currently looking for a Python Developer for my client who are an early start up. They are focussed on building an easy-to-use digital twin platform initially focussed on the sports and entertainment industry.

This roles is pivotal, offering autonomy and the chance to shape the future of the product and the business. If you're someone who thrives on challenges and isn't afraid to disrupt the status quo, then this is the journey for you.

You'll be the architect of seamless data integrations, weaving together sensors, systems, databases, and microservices. Dive deep into the realm of AI-driven workflows, sculpting systems that streamline operations and enhance comprehension.

Ideally you will have most of the following – Especially the top two.

Proficiency in Python: Solid understanding of the Python programming language, common frameworks (such as Flask, Django, or FastAPI), and its ecosystem, for building efficient and scalable microservices.

Microservices Architecture and Design: Extensive experience in designing, developing, and deploying microservices-based applications, including service discovery, load balancing, fault tolerance, and scaling strategies.

Distributed Messaging and Streaming: Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka or similar distributed messaging systems for building event-driven and real-time data pipelines.

Database Technologies: Experience in working with different types of databases, including Relational Databases (RDBMS like PostgreSQL, MySQL), Time-Series Databases (TSDB like InfluxDB, TimescaleDB), and Graph Databases (GDB like Dgraph, Neo4j), and their integration with microservices.

The role is fully remote but you must be a resident of the UK.
