Are you looking for an exciting new opportunity in the IT/EPOS retail industry? Concept are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to join a leading retail IT services organisation.

This is an initial 6 month contract opportunity starting ASAP with chance for long term extension

Day to Day Tasks for the Project Manager

You will be working on large scale projects for a leading retail client
These projects will typically encompass IT systems, infrastructure, 'roll outs' application development and management, systems migration and service provision
Need to understand the scope of works – review drawings, programmes, emails etc
Contact the appropriate suppliers to request quotes
Prepare and submit quotes
Update commercial register
Produce purchase orders
Schedule/invoice the works
Check if completed, deal with issues/snags, revisits if necessary, re-quote if scope changes
Works will be allocated to you/you will receive direct engagement once established
What are we looking for?

The successful Project Manager will have:

Hands on Retail Project Management experience within the POS/EPOS industry would be advantageous
Project Managers with IT / Technology / Software driven experience will be considered for the role
Work well under pressure
Good stakeholder management
Excellent time management skills
Strong organisational skills
Able to work independently as well as within a team
Be commutable to Welwyn Garden City
Working Hours

You will be working Monday-Friday, 8-5
You will be remote working but may need to travel to office/stores as and when required
What are the rates?

The successful candidates will be paid up to £324.00 – £374 per day via an Umbrella company

This role has been assessed and deemed Inside IR35
