£60,000 – £75,000
Sandcastles, models, and relationships.
All things you enjoy building from the ground up and playing a key role in their development.
Well now you can have the opportunity to do something similar just on a much larger scale!
A start-up SAAS debt management business is looking for their first Product Owner hire to join the team and help build and develop their brand-new cutting-edge product, could that be you?
You will be the first, and most important member of their flourishing product team. Reporting into the CEO/CPO, your task will be to develop the AI led software products they are building, and manage the development process.
You will curate a backlog and build an AGILE approach within the team and wider business, covering the entire software development lifecycle.
As the Product Owner you will also work closely with stakeholders and clients to understand UI preferences and be the go-to voice on the key product and its development.
In the role you will work with an offshore and near shore development team, with UK based stakeholders, so your ownership of the product and adaptability to fast turnaround sprints should be solid.
What experience will you have as the new Product Owner?
You will have strong experience working in software focused SMEs with an AGILE way of working.
You will be comfortable working autonomously and will have curated a software development methodology within a business before, specifically AGILE methodologies.
You have also been a Product Owner for SAAS products previously and will be comfortable working across the entire software development lifecycle.
Previously you would have managed remote based development teams and have a solid grasp of development tools for a Product Owner perspective.
Ideally you will also bring to the table a strong level of B2C experience, as the business is looking to diversify the internal knowledge base. A background in consumer analytics, debt management, or lending will also be beneficial.
You have got excellent user-centred analytic and data modelling skills and are experienced using JIRA.
A Product Owner certification is a big plus too, given you will play a huge role in the shape of the team and business.
Why work as the product owner for this business?
As they are a start-up a lot of the benefits are fluid, but below is a sense for what you could expect:
-Fully remote working with an office in Leicester for the occasional get together but nothing more would be required
-A budget of c. £1000 to set up your home office space (i.e. computer, keyboard, mouse, phone etc.)
-Flexible working hours outside of their core stand up times
Role: Product Owner
Salary: £50,000 – £75,000 DOE
