Help Desk Technician
Job Description
An IT Support company has need for an Help Desk Technician. The role focuses on diagnosing and resolving common technical problems, delivering excellent customer service, and escalating more complex issues when required. This position is ideal for individuals looking to build a career within IT support and technical services.
Duties:
* Act as the first point of contact for IT support queries via phone, email, ticketing systems or remote access tools
* Diagnose and resolve common hardware, software, and connectivity issues
* Provide troubleshooting support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers and peripherals
* Support users with operating systems, email, cloud applications and basic network issues
* Log, track and manage support tickets accurately in line with service level agreements (SLAs)
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
* Interest in IT, technology, or digital careers
* Great communication skills
* Basic IT knowledge or personal use of technology
* Strong attention to detail and record‑keeping skills
* Willingness to learn new technologies, systems and processes
