Product Manager/Owner Contract – Leeds based – Inside IR35

Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Product Manager to join an exciting client in Leeds focused to support them with the development and enhancement of our financial crime platform, which manages regulatory and risk checks for financial transactions. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the product roadmap, leading a cross-functional squad, and ensuring the delivery of key features and functionalities.

💷Day rate: £450-£470 per day

🏢On site working: Will be expected on site 3 days per week based in Leeds.

⏳Contract length: 6 months initially with a high likelihood of multiple extensions.

📅Start date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

Product Roadmap Management: Oversee and manage the product roadmap within the assigned squad.
Feature Development: Lead the development and implementation of new features for our financial crime platform.
Backlog Management: Prioritise and manage the product backlog, ensuring alignment with overall product strategy.

Experience and Skills

Proven experience in financial services, particularly in financial crime or fraud detection.
Strong track record in managing product roadmaps and leading cross-functional teams.
Experience balancing product management and product ownership responsibilities.
Proficiency in understanding and working with APIs.
Ability to collaborate with technical teams and understand technical requirements.
Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to make decisive product decisions.
Strong communication skills for engaging with stakeholders and team members.
Proficient in Agile methodologies and experienced in leading Agile ceremonies.
