Product Manager

We are currently hiring a Product Manager to work for a leading Audiobook Publisher based in Newbury (part-remote, part office based) This amazing role will involve over seeing all stages of the product development and related matters, heading up a team and running successful digital projects, such as mobile apps, websites and custom built shop systems.

This technical role will be working closely with our clients team based in Germany, supporting and managing software engineers and customer service teams with regular update and project meetings. Prioritising and planning all stages of implementation, testing and launch. Investigating potential product issues and coordinating solutions between teams. The successful candidate will also be involved in assisting with UI and UX design, research, market data, customer needs, user behaviour and reporting on usage data.

This role will require the following skills

Computer Science, Product Management or UX/UI Design related degree or work experience
Professional experience in Product Management or UX/UI Design
A good understanding of software development processes
High technical understanding and analytical thinking skills
Basic knowledge in web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Java, SQL and data analytics tools such as Excel and Google Analytics
Experience with UI design software like Sketch, Figma or Adobe Creative Cloud and MacOS
Experience with collaboration tools like Jira and Confluence, Zeplin, Invision
Excellent communication skills for close collaboration with both technical and non-technical teams
Fluent written and spoken English
German language skills
