As these are hybrid roles, you may be required to work on a client site for a day from time to time (Manchester, Bristol, London) for client workshops and events. In the longer term there may be a requirement for on-site work to increase but the majority of work will still be remote. All applicants must also hold or be prepared to undergo National Security Vetting (NSV) Security Check (SC) level.

Your future duties and responsibilities
As a Product Manager youll be joining a team working on a major new engagement within our Central Government business unit. Youll be responsible for shaping the product mission and vision. Youll be responsible for the quality of the products we develop and have ownership of the problem space, ensuring that the products being developed are aligned to meet user needs. You will work closely with our clients and be responsible for working with a Digital delivery team at all stages of the development lifecycle from discovery through to a live service. As Product Manager you will be the champion of your product and will need to be able to clearly articulate its goals, purpose and how its success will be measured. Youll be working closely with both the client and our delivery team to deliver our products and promote their uptake. Our Product Managers need ensure that the users are at the heart of product development.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
As a Product Manager you will ideally need to have a strong understanding and experience of UK Government Service standards and a passion for building the right product which meets both user and business needs. Youll need to be experienced in applying tools, terms and concepts in a variety of ways as well as being flexible to consider new ways of working, and able to adapt to change. Youll also need to have experience of agile working being able to identify and compare the best processes or delivery methods to use, including measuring and evaluating outcomes. From a lifecycle perspective youll recognise when to move from one stage of a product lifecycle to another and be able to manage the delivery of products or services at different phases. You should be able to demonstrate a track record of effective collaboration with user researchers and show that you understand the difference between user needs and desires of the user. LI-Hybrid
