Power BI Developer – £350-£420 per day – Inside IR35 – Hybrid working at a site in London or Ipswich -contract until 31/12/2024.

My client, the UKs largest producer of ZERO CARBON energy is looking for an experienced Power BI Developer to join them on a contract basis.

The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge of Power BI, including DAX & M (Power Query), and possess strong data analytics and data science capabilities. They will play a crucial role in designing and refining systems, creating insightful reports and dashboards, and ensuring smooth operation within my clients processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Utilize advanced knowledge of Power BI, including DAX & M (Power Query), to develop comprehensive reports and dashboards.
Collaborate with teams to design and refine system processes.
Configure and develop SharePoint sites.
Develop and maintain Microsoft Azure (SQL) databases.
Configure and develop Tableau reports and dashboards.
Utilize Microsoft Excel for advanced data analysis.
Ensure system administration tasks are executed efficiently.
Interface with peers in a multicultural environment.

Requirements:

Advanced knowledge of Power BI, including DAX & M (Power Query).
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Strong data analytics and data science capabilities.
Relevant system administration certification.
Experience with SharePoint configuration and development.
Proficiency in Microsoft Azure (SQL) development.
Experience with Tableau configuration and development.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a large corporate environment.
Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team.
Results-oriented with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.
Experience working in a multicultural environment is advantageous
