Network Engineer
Initial 6-month Contract
On-site in Chester office
£500 – £550, Inside IR35

We're recruiting on behalf of an IT Service Provider who are looking for a Network Engineer who will support routing and switching Data Centres, working closely with LAN infrastructure.

As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for:

Working with the technical team to identify end to end solutions that balance business, security, and resiliency requirements.
Configuration of devices to deploy new services into production.
Participating in the prioritization and scheduling of implementation activities.
Analysing and documenting technical application and se4rvice requirements.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

Excellent knowledge of Networking LAN infrastructure.
Excellent knowledge of network troubleshooting management platforms and tools.
Strong experience of Large Data Centre LAN deployments.
Strong experience of Access Networks.
Experience with Bluecat/DHCP/Cisco ISE/ and VXLAN.
Proven experience working in an enterprise environment, ideally in financial services or similar.
