Job Description

Net Developer is required to join a FTSE100 firm in the North of England. Working as part of a supportive and growing team you will be responsible for developing a wide range of key applications used across the group.

The team have a track record for helping developers expand their knowledge and advance their careers and there are clear paths of growth into Senior and Principal Development roles.

We are looking for a Mid-level developer with proven experience within C# .NET Development and Full-Stack Development, with a solid track record of working on technical projects from inception through to delivery.

* .NET 8: Proficient in using .NET 8 with C#.

* MVC Pattern: Commercial experience using the MVC pattern.

* Relational Databases: Proficiency in working with relational databases like SQL Server or Oracle.

* Front-End Scripting: Skilled in front-end scripting languages such as React, TypeScript, Vue.js, or Angular JS.

* Database Skills: Expertise in database design, SQL programming, and query optimisation.

* Source Control: Familiarity with source control systems such as TFS, GIT, and Azure DevOps.

* Testing Frameworks: A good understanding of unit testing frameworks and test coverage, with experience in automated testing using tools like MS Test, xUnit, Jet Brains, and Moq being advantageous.

* Design Patterns: Demonstrable experience with object-oriented design patterns, code refactoring, and a solid awareness of SOLID principles.

* Web Services: Good exposure and understanding of Web services using RESTful APIs. Exposure to GraphQL is advantageous.

* Azure Cloud Hosting: Some exposure to Azure cloud hosting and PaaS services is a plus.

This is a hybrid role with 1 day a week spent in the office with your team. Commutable locations include Leeds, Sheffield, Hull and Doncaster
