£41,747 per annum – pro-rata (salary effective 1 April 2026) – Grade 7

Leeds / Hybrid

Fixed term for up to 12 months Part time – 22.5 hours per week

We currently have a vacancy for a Lead Programme Performance Coordinator to join our Adult Skills Programme Performance Team.

You will be an exceptional individual, with the ability to lead an experienced team in managing the financial elements, internal and external performance metrics, contract reporting as well as demonstrating the impact of funding for West Yorkshire residents.

The Adult Skills Fund aims to provide adults with the skills they need to enter work and maintain a job by supporting the unemployed to gain and sustain employment, unlocking progression opportunities and career adaptability through skills, making learning more inclusive to support disadvantaged residents, increasing the supply of skills to support key sectors in West Yorkshire and Improving West Yorkshires resilience by identifying the skills needed for the future.

As our Lead Programme and Performance Coordinator, you will have specific responsibilities for managing and monitoring the Adult Skills Fund performance data and payments alongside the Performance and Data team. You will be able to demonstrate outstanding leadership, management, and relationship skills for representing the Combined Authority internally and externally with partners.

Interviews are planned for week commencing 13th April 2026. This will consist of a task-based assessment and interview, based on role profile and advert.

The Role

Reporting into the Data and Performance Lead your key responsibilities will include:

· Provide day to day management of a team of Programme Performance Coordinators.

· Manage allocated contracts in line with funding guidance and contract requirements.

· Develop and maintain effective contract management tools to monitor overall contract finances, performance, subcontractors, partner delivery and associated risks of multiple high value contracts, ensuring accuracy.

About You

You will have the following key skills, attributes, education and experience:

· Knowledge and practical experience of contract and project management methodologies, techniques and good practice.

· Relevant and recent experience of developing, implementing, embedding and maintaining contract management processes and procedures.

· Experience of directing team priorities and managing external influences to achieve targets.

· Understanding of the contract management requirements of a range of funding streams.

· Excellent attention to detail and confidence using Microsoft Tools.
