ROLE: Java Developer
LOCATION: Remote (UK)
CLEARANCE: SC Cleared + NPVV3 (Bonus)

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Java Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in Java development and a strong understanding of backend, frontend, data, and DevOps technologies. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

* Designing and developing high-quality software solutions using Java and related technologies.

* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

* Writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code.

* Troubleshooting and debugging issues to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

* Participating in code reviews to ensure code quality and consistency.

* Keeping up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in software development.

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

* Significant experience with Java development.

* Proficiency in backend technologies such as Node.js, Java Spring, Python, and C#.

* Experience with frontend technologies such as React, Typescript, Angular, and JavaScript.

* Knowledge of data technologies including PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB, and Apache Cassandra.

* Familiarity with DevOps tools such as AWS, Kubernetes, Azure, Jenkins, Docker, Ansible, and Terraform.

* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

* Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.

* Certifications in relevant technologies.
