Role: IT Systems Manager

* Location: Doha, Qatar

* Salary: Up to 40K Riyals per month (All inclusive – housing, transportation and flight allowance) plus health insurance coverage for employee and family (spouse + 3 children)

The Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced IT Systems Manager to lead the performance, reliability and evolution of large-scale traffic control and monitoring systems across thousands of kilometres of roads and tunnels. This role is critical to ensuring operational excellence across regional traffic control centres, identifying system requirements and improvements and enforcing best practices

Skills and Experience:

* Prior experience working in SCADA / real time engineering environments

* Exposure to Advanced Traffic Management Systems (ATMS) would be beneficial

* Strong knowledge of networking, security and system architecture

* Experience with container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker)

* Proficiency in monitoring tools and incident response platforms

* Hands-on with automation / scripting (Python, Bash, etc.)

* Strong database skills (SQL & NoSQL, performance tuning)

* Familiarity with ITIL or similar frameworks

Role and Responsibilities:

* Manage subcontractors ensuring system uptime and SLA performance

* Design and implement scalable system architectures and roadmaps

* Drive system monitoring, performance optimisation and reliability

* Lead incident management and root cause analysis

* Enforce best practices in system design, documentation and operations

* Improve efficiency through automation, tooling and scripting
