About the Role:
We're seeking a visionary Head of IT to drive our client's IT strategy forward. As they undergo a period of growth and transformation, you'll have the opportunity to shape the IT landscape and propel them toward their ambitious goals.
Develop and execute the company's IT strategy in alignment with business objectives.
Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals across multiple locations.
Collaborate with third-party partners and suppliers to ensure top-notch IT services.
Support due diligence processes for acquisitions.
Manage the IT budget and resources effectively.
Oversee four key functional areas: Business Architecture, Projects and Change, Service Management, and Infrastructure.
10+ years of experience in IT management, operations, service delivery, and infrastructure.
Proven track record in strategic planning and execution.
Experience transitioning from traditional on-premises IT to cloud hosting.
Ability to build and manage a hybrid IT delivery team.
Familiarity with ITIL principles and IT service management.
Knowledge of multi-cloud and hybrid hosting environments.
Understanding of IT security and compliance.
Experience driving change in global organisations.
Background in mergers and acquisitions.
Proficiency in building and delivering strategic road maps.
Experience in IT project management and change management.
Strong skills in IT budgeting and resource management.
Familiarity with IT risk management and vendor management.
Ability to present to CIOs and board-level stakeholders.
Strong leadership skills with a passion for team success.
Ability to build relationships and collaborate across all levels of the organisation.
