The Job

To effectively and efficiently deliver both proactive and reactive 1st Line IT Support for all STR employees. Acting primarily in a 1st line support capacity, resolving issues in person, over the phone or via remote connectivity. The role is varied and requires a real team player who can manage their time efficiently and prioritise or escalate technical issues to ensure a prompt closure.

As a IT Support Technician at STR, your role will include:

Provide 1st Line IS support across all IT & Comms platforms via internal ticketing log
1st Line Support for CRM, handling basic user issues
Team/desk moves (Hardware set-up, cabling etc.)
Simple hardware maintenance and fixes
Escalate more complex calls when required
Assist with new office set-ups
Provide IS support for Group functions/events (AV)
System back-ups and maintenance
Maintain IT equipment stock levels to ensure shortages do not occur
Be responsible for IT Asset Register
Company mobile phone ordering and set-up
New Starter/Leavers process
Administrate Intune
Ensure office(s) / Comms Rooms are tidy
O.C. for IT Support partner (Vinters)
Monthly visits to satellite office(s)
Produce monthly IT SLA reports for SLT
Provide additional support to Facilities Team What we offer

Proven experience in a similar IT support role with end user facing responsibilities
First line support experience or similar
Previous experience of ticket logging systems and remote support tools.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft products and operating system (Windows Server & Windows 10)
Personal resilience including skills in working in challenging situations
Able to adapt own approach and style to the situation at the time.
Organised and able to prioritise with minimal supervision
