The company is offering a salary of £45,000 – £50,000, 25 days holiday, life cover and additional employer pension contributions.

You can be based at either the Birmingham or Coventry offices.

Job Purpose:

Join our client's team as a 2nd Line Support Technician, where you'll play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing their IT systems, including their ERP system. You'll work closely with the IT Manager to ensure optimal systems support across the organisation.

Job Duties:

* Innovative System Management: Install, configure, and maintain state-of-the-art systems, networks, and software.

* Comprehensive Support: Provide exceptional assistance to over 250 employees across the networked offices, covering software, hardware, desktop, and domain server administration through email, phone, and in-person interactions.

* ERP Expertise: Offer user support for their business ERP systems, ensuring smooth operation and user satisfaction.

* Technical Guidance: Assist dedicated users with technical support, helping them overcome any challenges they face.

* Application Implementation: Play a key role in introducing new applications, supporting their successful implementation and seamless transition within the organsation.

* Creative Problem-Solving: Utilise your skills to develop customisations based on user requirements, such as BPMs, GUI changes, and updateable dashboards.

* Report Customization: Leverage your expertise to create and modify SSRS reports, enabling their teams to extract valuable insights from the ERP system.

* Security Administration: Collaborate with the team to administer ERP security and permissions, ensuring appropriate access levels and maintaining data integrity.

* Data Integrity: Maintain high-quality data entry across relevant elements of our ERP system and ensure accurate completion of related records.

* Additional Duties: Carry out other responsibilities related to the general conduct of the business as needed.

You:

* Proficiency in Windows Operating Systems – Windows Server 2016, 2019 & 2022, HyperV (Apply online only), Windows 10/11 Pro.

* Familiarity with the Microsoft suite – Active Directory, Group Policy, Microsoft 365, and Teams.

* ERP knowledge is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.

* A basic understanding of performing data queries using SQL is a plus.

* Travel between company sites is required, so a car and a valid full driving licence are essential.
