Job Description

The successful IT Support Technician will ensure that the Company Network and Fileservers operate efficiently and that IT procedures are documented.

The role will involve:

Ensure that the Company Network and Fileservers operate efficiently and that IT procedures are documented.
Carry out backups of all Fileserver variable data on a daily basis, with backups stored off-site to allow disaster recovery.
Ensure that the necessary security routines are in place. In particular that Firewall and virus checker are operating effectively and are current, and that individual employees access rights are reviewed regularly. Ensure that employees are aware of their responsibilities in having effective system security in place.
Be, or become, proficient in the operation of Google, MS Office and the Windows operating systems.

To be successful in this role of IT Support Technician we would love to speak to anyone who has experience of:

At least 2 years' experience in IT
Familiarity with Google and Windows networks
Familiarity with backup routines
Familiar with PC Configurations
