2nd Line Support Engineer

Glasgow – Full Time

Up to £30,000

Head Resourcing are pleased to be working with a leading construction and maintenance company based in Glasgow as they look to hire a Technical Support Officer to join them. They are one of Scotland's largest construction companies working across the public, private, and third sectors. Required Skills:

Proven experience supporting an enterprise environment at both 1st and 2nd line
Ability to customise desktop configurations, group policies, and user profiles to align with organisational requirements and standards
Experience configuring, deploying, integrating, and troubleshooting desktop operating systems (e.g. Windows 10/11) and common applications (e.g., O365 – Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams)
Knowledge of desktop imaging solutions to streamline deployment processes
Knowledge of tools such as Intune/SCCM or similar
Familiarity with desktop virtualisation technologies such as Windows Virtual Desktop / Remote Desktop Services. VMWare Horizon, Citrix Virtual Apps or similar.
Knowledge of desktop security best practice.
