IT Service Manager (IT, Services, Manager, ISO, SLA’s, KPI’s, Hands On, Infrastructure, ServiceNow) – Contract – Inside IR35 – Remote

Charles Simon Associates are currently recruiting an IT Services Manager on an initial 3 month contact for one of the UK’s leading MSP’s.

This role is inside IR35

Location: Remote

Day Rate: £400 – £500 per day DOE

Skills/Requirements for the IT Service Manager:

* Previous experience within a hands-on IT Environment

* Experience of working in a high-volume service role.

* Experience of working to multiple SLA’s and KPI’s.

* Proven ability to manage and team of engineers remotely.

* Experience of working for a managed service provider helpful and welcome.

* Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

* Strong leadership and people management skills.

Highly Desirable Skills:

* Prior experience of working in an ISO environment.

* ITIL foundation qualification or better.

Start date for the IT Service Manager is ASAP

The IT Service Manager will be responsible for:

* Pro-actively monitoring, controlling, and reporting against customer SLAs and KPI for your allocated customers for the service your team delivers.

* Managing and prioritising tasks/time efficiently and encouraging the same in others throughout your team

* Managing, measuring, and improving team performance

* Developing and supporting of junior members of your team and peers within Service Operations

* Playing an active part during any major incidents that may affect your service to customers

* Developing strategies to make sure that the your team is integrated into the BAU operation teams and ensure that collaboration and open communications occur both within and outside of your teams.

* Play an active part in the service introduction and acceptance process to ensure that things are fit for purpose from an out of hours perspective
