IT Project Manager
Job Description
IT Project Manager is required by fast growing and highly successful organisation.
Purpose of job
Be responsible for delivering projects, specifically related to the IT Technical Plan and Change Programme, that improve the way they deliver services to their customers and empowers staff to enable them to be the best they can be.

Responsibilities
Deliver new technologies, integrations and data capabilities on scope, time and budget that address business challenges, are 'fit for purpose' and embedded
Lead the resolution and avoidance of potential issues and problems that might affect the performance of business functions whilst ensuring the confidentiality, integrity and availability of business applications and data
Define and manage projects that deliver new or upgraded technology, integrations, and data capabilities to agreed scopes, quality criteria, timetable, and budgets
Build relationships with stakeholders to facilitate successful delivery of projects within the agreed parameters
Create and maintain detailed project documentation including charters, business cases, initiation documents, roadmaps, milestone/sprint plans, resource plans, stakeholder maps, workplans, product and feature backlogs, quality and embedding plans, benefit trackers, dependencies, assumptions, risks, issues, DRAID and other logs, status reports, lessons learnt and governance meeting papers and presentations
Proactively manage scope, quality, timetabling, cost, risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, configurations, tests, integrations, defects and releases with appropriate controls, mitigations, tolerances, and escalations
Rigorously manage third party suppliers and dependencies
Track project deliverables including implementing key performance trackers, timetabling tolerances, and contingency plans in the event of delays
Adhere to and improve their project management framework and change control processes
Continuously monitor progress against plan and produce timely project reports to detail and frequency required
Define project tasks and resource requirements, effectively co-ordinating project staff to ensure adequate levels of resource and skills are available
Promote collaborative working with business teams and external customers
Improve the confidentiality, integrity, accuracy, and availability of data
Keep abreast of and implement best practices in project management and IT trends, share knowledge and contribute to the ongoing learning of the team
Person specification
Expertise
Experience in coordinating and leading projects to successfully deliver new technology and data capabilities
Experience in coordinating business analysis, specification, configuration, technical, test and training resources as well as delivering continuous service improvements.
Knowledge and experience of project management methodologies and tailoring these to organisational context
Ability to embed new systems and new ways of working for teams
Experience in business engagement, business analysis and planning, design, sourcing, transition and delivery of new technology and data capabilities
Experience of building productive relationships with the business and third-party suppliers and development partners
Knowledge of project management tools
Current knowledge of information technology trends, applications life-cycle management, cyber security issues and developments in infrastructure and IT operational service delivery
Ability to deliver quality results on scope, time, and budget
Ability to constructively challenge colleagues and partners to get the right outcome
Competent at managing own learning and self-development and modelling this for others with a willingness to support the learning and development of colleagues
Ability to be an ambassador and role model
Knowledge of modern productivity solutions, housing management processes and systems
Knowledge of systems integration including Web Services and APIs.
Personal influence; working effectively with stakeholder groups and suppliers.
Knowledge of compliance with all relevant licensing, data protection, payments card industry, security, regulations, and operating codes of practice.
Ability to build strong, effective, and productive relationships.
Excellent communication skills across the full breadth of written, verbal, presentation, and digital media with the ability to communicate complex technical information to a variety of audiences.
Qualifications and skills
IT qualification or comparable relevant experience
Prince 2/Agile Foundation Level
Desirable
Prince 2/Agile Practitioner Level
Knowledge and experience of implementing Integrated Housing Management Systems and Asset Management Systems, ideally Civica Cx
Knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, Teams, Power Automate/Apps).

Basic salary £50-55,000 + excellent benefits
