Job Description

Elevation Recruitment seek a 1st Line Support Engineer to work for one of our key clients in Rotherham.

As an 1st Line Engineer, your role will consist of providing essential technical support both onsite and offsite, addressing and resolving IT issues.

This role typically involves troubleshooting hardware and software problems, managing user accounts, and maintaining network connectivity.

You will act as the first point of contact for IT queries, ensuring minimal disruption to operations by swiftly resolving issues or escalating where necessary.

You will assist in deploying and maintaining IT equipment, ensuring all systems function efficiently.

Rotherham based with ad-hoc travel to other sites in the UK. Pool car provided.

Required Experience

Great telephone and in-person people skills
Previous IT support experience is a must (MSP Preferable)
Eager to learn and develop a career in IT
Office 365 & Exchange Online
SharePoint and Teams
Windows OS and Server
Excellent team player but with the capacity to be strongly self-motivated.
The ability to deal with difficult and demanding situations in a calm and professional manner.
Networking – DNS / DHCP / TCP / IP
A driving licence is essential for this role as you will proactively and reactively be attending site offices
