Working on behalf of our client, Kingston Recruitment are recruiting for a newly created IT Manager role working alongside senior management at their Head Office in Hull. This is an autonomous position with the expectation to provide IT support both to Head Office and other sites in the UK. We are therefore looking for an experienced individual who can oversee IT for the company and lead a number of key IT projects to allow the business to enhance their technology and aid their progression and development.

Key responsibilities:

* Manage and oversee the IT infrastructure across the business

* Responsible for networks, servers, hardware and software systems

* Resolve any systems, hardware and software issues

* Conduct regular back-ups and oversee security updates and maintenance

* Oversee key IT projects through to completion and act as the point of contact with external developers and IT solution providers

* Recommend and implement improvements when required

The candidate:

Previous experience as an IT Manager essential coupled with responsibility of managing and running projects through to completion.

A degree in IT would be beneficial but consideration will be given to those qualified by experience.

Strong technical ability and experience of serving and supporting a business with all elements of IT including network management, server administration, system and software configuration.

On offer:

A full time permanent position working Monday to Friday with the expectation to cover and be the point of contact for any IT issues outside of normal core hours.

Site based in Hull.
