Funded Skills Bootcamp for Cyber Security – York

What are Skills Bootcamps?

Skills Bootcamps are free, flexible courses of up to 16 weeks, giving people the opportunity to build up tech sector-specific skills and fast-track to an interview with an employer.

What you'll learn:

A range of roles and methodologies in the tech industry
What is Cyber Security
Threat Modelling throughout the SDLC
Vulnerabilities – social, hardware, software,
networking, including the related technology
Vulnerability scanning of operating systems, applications, and networks.
Web Application Security
Pen Testing
Approaches and Techniques, including
Red vs Blue team activities.
Monitoring, Detection, and recovery
Requirements:

Available to applicants aged 19 +
No prior experience is required. We welcome individuals from all backgrounds who possess a passion for technology and a strong desire to learn.
Basic computer literacy and familiarity with using software applications.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to work effectively in a team.
Demonstrated commitment to personal growth and a keen interest in pursuing a career in cyber
