Technical ERP Team Lead – remote based

A growing ERP consulting firm is looking for a Technical Team Lead with strong Epicor (or similar ERP exposure) expertise to help guide the delivery of complex ERP solutions while supporting and developing a talented technical team.

This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys solving technical challenges, working directly with clients, and helping other consultants develop their skills. You’ll remain hands-on with solution delivery while playing a key role in shaping technical standards and delivery practices across projects.

The organisation has been delivering ERP solutions for more than 25 years and is recognised as a leading Epicor implementation partner across Ireland and the UK. Their consultants work with companies across manufacturing, supply chain, distribution and professional services to modernise business systems and improve operational performance.

Projects typically involve organisations operating in areas such as:

* Manufacturing (Engineer-to-Order, Make-to-Order and Make-to-Stock)

* Food and process industries

* Distribution and warehousing

* Supply chain and logistics

* Financial management and reporting

* CRM and business intelligence

What You’ll Be Doing

This is a hybrid leadership and delivery role where you’ll divide your time between mentoring consultants and working directly on technical ERP implementations.

Key areas of responsibility include:

Leading the Technical Team

* Supporting and mentoring ERP developers and technical consultants

* Reviewing development work and ensuring consistent delivery standards

* Acting as the technical escalation point for complex challenges

Delivering ERP Solutions

* Designing and implementing Epicor ERP customisations and integrations

* Working with Epicor tools, APIs and SQL-based technologies

* Supporting deployment and release activities across client environments

Working with Clients and Project Teams

* Collaborating with functional consultants, project managers and development teams

* Participating in workshops and technical discussions with customers

* Contributing to project planning and estimating technical work

Driving Continuous Improvement

* Promoting best practices across development and deployment processes

* Identifying opportunities to improve customer solutions using Epicor technology

* Supporting internal knowledge sharing and capability development

What We’re Looking For

We’re interested in speaking with candidates who bring:

* Extensive experience delivering Epicor ERP technical solutions

* Strong knowledge of customisation, BPM workflows, integrations and SQL development

* Experience guiding or mentoring technical consultants

* The ability to work directly with clients and translate business needs into technical solutions

In addition, we are particularly interested in candidates who have a good understanding of modern web-based technologies and development approaches. You don’t need to be a full-time web developer, but you should be comfortable discussing web architecture, integrations and APIs with development teams and helping shape web-based solutions that integrate with ERP platforms.

Additional experience that would be valuable includes:

* Experience working with an Epicor partner or consulting environment

* Knowledge of Power BI, SSRS reporting, or automation tools

* Exposure to cloud ERP environments
