Job Title: DevOps Engineer
Location: Croydon (once or twice a month)
Day Rate: £360 to £380 per day.
Interview Stages: 2 Stages
Location: Croydon – 2 times a month.

Clearance: Active SCRoles and Responsibilities: The DevOps Engineer will play a pivotal role that combines engineering responsibilities with operational tasks within the operating model. Key engineering skills and responsibilities include:
Development and deployment of AWS cloud infrastructure using Terraform Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Building and managing Jenkins Continuous Deployment (CD) Pipelines.Qualifications and Requirements: The ideal candidate should have strong DevOps experience with the following AWS technologies:
EC2, EKS (Kubernetes), RDS, Route 53, VPC networking, S3.
Experience with DevOps tools/practices such as Jenkins, Git, CI/CD, Docker, Helm.
Understanding of the management and implementation of security policies, including IAM, encryption, and network security.Desired Skills and Experience: Candidates with the following additional skills and experience will be highly considered:
Experience with frontend scripting languages such as Java and Python.
Familiarity with other areas of the product lifecycle, including requirements gathering and service design.
Proficiency in configuring monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, etc.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Note: This is a contract position based in Croydon, with on-site presence required once or twice a month.
