Blair West is supporting an innovative SaaS business in its search for a Data Scientist. They have built a leading intelligent sales solution already used by an impressive list of retail industry clients and are looking for a well-rounded Data professional with a Data Science emphasis to develop the product further and make it a must-have for the sector.

The opportunity:

* You will take responsibility for transforming the SasS platform Data into actionable insights, identifying any gaps and opportunities presented by these data sets.

* You will work with the Product teams to identify data use cases to enhance the client and user experience on the platform.

* You will be working alongside talented and expert colleagues and will have the opportunity to upskill, learn on the job and build a successful Data and Analytics.

* This is a fully remote role with regular (2 visits per month) trips to meet with colleagues in London.

You’ll be the ideal candidate for this role if you have:

* At least two years experience in a data science/engineering or similar role.

* Technical expertise in defining and maintaining data models, data mining and segmentation techniques.

* Experience with Tableau or similar data visualisation tools.

* Professional coding experience in Python, R or similar languages used in data science/engineering. Experience with Streamlit in Python would be a plus.

* Hands-on experience with data modelling languages (SQL, DBT).

* Experience working with a cloud-native data warehouse, ideally Snowflake; however, experience working with similar products will be accepted.

* A degree in computer science, statistical degree, or similar quantitative scientific field.

* Any data science/engineering professional certifications or qualifications will be considered an advantage.
