Key Responsibilities

We are currently looking to recruit a Data Analyst who will work within Kier's Integrated Service Delivery team to analyse, validate and make recommendations to enable decision making on service level reports. You will assist Service Managers to conduct regular trend analysis, ensuring new services being introduced and changes to existing services are focused on the delivery of business outcomes, using data and business intelligence to make recommendations for CSIP. In addition you will assist with the recovery of expenditure by validating reports shared by the Strategic Outsource Provider and suppliers in order to recharge the respective business stream for their ICT consumption. You will be looking at data validation for various Front Office, Back Office and Oracle services and analysing actual versus budgeted spend (Support, Maintenance and Licensing). You will create high-quality reports and presentations to report on IT costs for Oracle, Front and Back Office services, working within ISD to analyse service performance metrics, discover trends and establish focus areas for continual service improvement.

What are we looking for?

You will need experience in data analysis and generation of management reporting and a good understanding of a range of reporting tools including Excel, PowerBI, OBIEE, Qlik and SSRS. Experience in a high transactional volume environment and the ability to understand and extract intelligence from IT Business and Supplier Data is essential and you will also need previous experience of working in an integrated service environment within a large organisation with a multi-vendor landscape. You'll need to have the ability to successfully work across different teams and organisations and have a business-focussed, service-driven mindset.
