Job Title: Survey Data Analyst

Location: Royal Berkshire Hospital, Reading RG1 5AN

Trust: Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust

Job Type/Shift Patterns: Full time, Monday – Friday between 8:00am – 4:00pm or 9:00am – 5:00pm, 37.5 hours a week (Hybrid, 3 days working on-site, rest days Working from Home)

Pay Rate: £21.80/Hr.

JOB SUMMARY:

We seek a Data Analyst to analyze survey feedback from stakeholders, focusing on quantitative and qualitative data. Responsibilities include data cleaning, statistical analysis of multiple-choice responses, thematic analysis of free-text responses, and assessing the representativeness of the population. The role also involves integrating findings into a comprehensive, engaging report. Expertise in statistical methods, text analysis tools, and data visualization software is required.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Analyze quantitative and qualitative survey feedback from stakeholders.

* Clean and preprocess raw data, ensuring quality and consistency.

* Perform statistical analysis on multiple-choice responses.

* Conduct thematic analysis of free-text responses using text analysis tools.

* Assess the representativeness of the population based on demographics and geography.

* Integrate findings into a comprehensive and engaging report.

* Utilize statistical methods, text analysis techniques, and data visualization software.

* Complete analysis and report within a four-week timeframe, working three days a week.

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

* Bachelor’s degree in data science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.

* Advanced degree (master’s or higher) preferred but not required.

* Proficiency in statistical analysis and text analysis techniques.

* Experience with data cleaning, preprocessing, and quality assurance.

* Strong skills in data visualization software and report writing.

* Ability to analyze and interpret both quantitative and qualitative data.

* Excellent written and verbal communication.
