D365 F&O Application Support Consultant
Job Description
I'm currently looking to speak with experienced and motivated Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Support Consultants based in Northern Ireland or Ireland, with the flexibility to travel to Belfast or Dublin when required.
As we continue to grow our Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain customer base, I'm looking to add someone who enjoys problem‑solving, thrives in a fast‑paced support environment, and wants to deepen their expertise across D365 F&O.
About the Role
This position focuses on supporting and maintaining Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations environments for both established customers and newly implemented projects.
You'll work closely with functional consultants, developers, and client-side users to diagnose issues, support updates, and ensure systems remain stable, secure, and high‑performing.
You'll have the opportunity to develop deeper skills across core operational areas such as Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, Inventory, Warehousing, and integrations, while making a real impact on day‑to‑day business performance.
What I'm Looking For
Experience working with ERP systems
Strong understanding of keyD365 F&O process areas such as:
Finance: GL, AP/AR, Fixed Assets, Cash & Bank, Budgeting
Supply Chain: Procurement & Sourcing, Inventory, Warehousing, Trade & Logistics
Ability to troubleshoot system issues across modules, workflows, integrations, and customisations
Comfortable engaging directly with end users to gather detail, diagnose issues, and provide clear solutions.
What You'll Be Doing
🔧 Technical Support & Troubleshooting
Investigate and resolve issues across D365 F&O modules
Support platform updates, environment management, and release planning
Validate and test patches, hotfixes, and new features
Work with Microsoft Support for escalation of complex issues
Essential Requirements
ERP support experience
Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills
Proactive, dependable, and eager to learn
Ability to work across multiple priorities and customer requests
Desirable Experience
Hands‑on experience with D365 Finance & Operations
Exposure to Azure environments or portal technologies
