Business Development Manager – IT

Regional, National or Worldwide | Full-time | Remote Role

About the role

DCV is seeking an experienced, strategic Business Development Manager to play a pivotal role in our next phase of growth. This is a senior, outward-facing role for someone who understands IT recruitment inside out and is motivated by building meaningful, long-term partnerships rather than chasing short-term wins.

You will be responsible for expanding our reach both regionally and nationally, developing new client relationships across the IT Sector while protecting and strengthening the reputation we have built for quality, trust and reliability.

This role is ideal for a proven IT recruitment BDM who wants autonomy, influence, and the opportunity to help shape the future direction of a growing, teacher-led business.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead the strategic growth of IT across new regions and sectors

* Identify, engage and secure new partnerships with IT organisations

* Build long-term relationships with senior decision-makers

* Represent DCV as a trusted, credible partner rather than a Recruitment company

* Work closely with internal recruitment teams to ensure delivery matches promises

Essential Experience & Attributes

* Proven experience as a Business Development Manager within IT recruitment

* Demonstrable success in winning and developing IT clients at scale

* Strong knowledge of the IT landscape

* Values-driven approach aligned with delivering high-quality outcomes

* Commercially astute, strategic thinker with excellent relationship-building skills

* Confident, professional and credible when engaging senior IT stakeholders

* Self-motivated, organised and comfortable operating with a high level of autonomy
