Job Title: Bootloader Developer
Pay Rate: £450 – £500 per day
Location: Brentwood, UK
Work Model: Minimum 2 days required in the office per week
Contract Duration: 6 months
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Bootloader Developer to join our team on a 6-month contract in Brentwood, UK. This role requires a minimum of 8 years of experience and offers a hybrid work model, with at least 2 days per week in the office.
Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, integrate, and test Bootloader and Linux applications on ARM boards.
* Participate in code reviews to enhance software quality.
* Document work as needed to ensure clarity and reproducibility.
* Communicate with and support the hardware team during board bring-up activities.
Required/Expected Experience/Skills:
* Excellent and strong C programming experience.
* Strong software design skills with analytical problem-solving abilities.
* Experience with Linux, POSIX, RTOS, and device drivers.
* Expert knowledge of GNU development and debugging tools.
* Good understanding of ARM Microprocessor architecture.
* Strong knowledge of U-Boot and Linux driver porting on ARM boards.
