Senior QA Automation Engineer

Long-Term Contract | London | Active DV Required

I'm working with a specialist organisation delivering cutting-edge solutions across the National Security and Defence sector, seeking an experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer to join a long-term programme based onsite in London.

This is an opportunity to work on highly secure, mission-critical systems alongside software engineers, test specialists and technical delivery teams.

What You'll Be Doing

Design and develop automated test frameworks and scripts
Improve and maintain automated testing capability
Investigate defects and perform root cause analysis
Work closely with developers and test analysts
Drive testing best practice and automation standards
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Support delivery of secure, high-assurance systems

Required Experience

Active DV Clearance (MOD DV accepted)
Proven Test Automation Engineering experience
Strong Python development skills
PowerShell scripting
C# and/or Java
Test framework development and maintenance
Automated functional and integration testing
ISTQB certification or relevant degree
Experience within secure, defence or government environments
