Application Support Specialist – Infor LN ERP

Location: Remote – Occasional visits to Harlow, UK
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £40,000 – £42,000Our client, a leading manufacturer, is seeking an experienced Application Support Specialist to join their dynamic team in this newly formed role. The role is remote with occasional visits to the office based in Harlow and offers the opportunity to support the Infor LN ERP system, playing a key role in ensuring the team can continue providing a leading and efficient service across the continent.

Day to Day of the role:

Provide technical support and troubleshooting for the Infor LN ERP system, addressing system errors, performance issues, and data discrepancies.
Collaborate on system configuration and customisation to meet business requirements, implementing enhancements, upgrades, and patches.
Develop and deliver training and documentation to ensure employees are well-versed in system features and best practices.
Analyse business processes for optimization opportunities within the ERP system, recommending and implementing solutions to streamline operations.
Manage data integrity within the ERP system, perform audits, data cleansing, and generate reports to support informed decision-making.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to align system capabilities with business needs, acting as a trusted ERP advisor.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience in application support and administration of the Infor LN ERP system, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Technical proficiency in ERP systems, database management, SQL scripting, and reporting tools.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Experience in the transportation or automotive industry is preferred.
ERP system certifications or project management qualifications like PMP are advantageous.
