3rd Line Engineer
Watford
Up to £40,000 DOE
Our client is well-established Managed Service Provider (MSP) based in Watford; they’re currently looking for a 3rd Line Service Desk Engineer to join their expanding team.
The successful 3rd Line Engineer will be the escalation point of a friendly team. Providing a high-level service to the companies’ clients to ensure the performance and reliability of their IT systems run seamlessly.
You will have the opportunity to be involved in projects, if you don’t have experience in this area, there is scope for training and development.
The job role will involve:
* Answering 3rd line support queries via phone, email or on-site.
* Monitoring and maintaining server performance.
* Troubleshooting hardware and software problems.
* Installing and configuring new systems.
* Providing technical support to customers.
* Assisting on projects.
* Migration projects
* Mentoring the team.
The ideal candidate will have:
* Experience in 3rd line support.
* Extensive experience in network and server support.
* Good understanding of networking concepts.
* Working with storage and backup.
* VMWare / Hyper – V.
* Cyber Security.
* Good knowledge O365 /Azure / Exchange /Intune / Onedrive / Sharepoint.
* Excellent problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
It is desirable that the candidate has experience working within the MSP sector and working knowledge of the following:
* Worked for an MSP.
* Involved in projects.
