Workday Consultant (Financial SME)

London / Sheffield (2 days in the office)

Contract till the end of the year + extension

£650 to £700 a day Inside IR35

A leading enterprise organisation is urgently looking for a Workday Financial Consultant to help guide them through the critical final phases of their Workday implementation journey. (With a major deployment target on the horizon, this is a brilliant opportunity to take ownership of key workstreams, de-risk delivery, and ensure the business teams are fully equipped for day-one operations.

Acting as the vital link between the technology rollout and the business, you will work hand-in-hand with our finance and commercial departments. This is a highly visible, collaborative position requiring a blend of technical capability and excellent stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities

Functional Delivery: Support end-to-end execution across core accounting pipelines, spend management setups, and corporate tracking modules.
Data & Insights: Help optimize complex reporting frameworks and advanced analytics data hubs to deliver clear visibility for business leadership.
Test Management: Take a proactive role in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), guiding functional validation, identifying data anomalies, and resolving defects.
Training & Enablement: Design and facilitate practical, informal knowledge transfer sessions and build user guides to ease the business into new daily workflows.Key Skills

Workday Finance Expert: Proven track record delivering implementations with deep knowledge of Core Accounting and Spend Management (Procurement/Expenses).
Prism Specialist: Hands-on experience building analytics solutions specifically within Workday Prism.
Business Translator: Ability to convert complex system configurations into clear, practical processes for commercial and finance teams.
Delivery Focused: Thrives in fast-paced rollout environments with the milestone discipline needed to hit strict go-live deadlines.
