Optimise by Recruitment are working with an ambitious tech company navigating the realms of online reviews and financial solutions including e-commerce, with a growing footprint spanning from smaller businesses to well-known high street brands.

We are in search of a skilled WordPress Developer with a background in front-end development, particularly utilising React TypeScript. The ideal candidate will possess proficiency in building and managing WordPress sites, crafting custom plugins, and seamlessly integrating with diverse APIs and external systems. While the primary focus lies on WordPress, any experience in .NET development would be advantageous, as there might be chances to contribute to .NET projects.

Responsibilities:

* Develop, maintain and optimise WordPress websites to ensure top-notch performance and availability.

* Customise WordPress plugins and themes according to project specifications.

* Integrate WordPress sites with external APIs and third-party services for enhanced functionality.

* Utilise React TypeScript for front-end development tasks to create engaging user interfaces.

* Collaborate closely with team members to design and implement intuitive web interfaces.

* Provide technical support for WordPress sites, resolving issues and offering troubleshooting assistance.

* Contribute to .NET projects during lighter WordPress workloads, if applicable.

Requirements:

* Extensive experience in WordPress development, specialising in custom plugin and theme creation.

* Proficiency in front-end technologies, particularly React TypeScript.

* Sound understanding of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.

* Hands-on experience with API integrations and third-party services.

* Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a collaborative team environment.

* Strong problem-solving skills coupled with meticulous attention to detail.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

* Familiarity with .NET development.

* Knowledge of web development best practices and SEO principles.
