Job Description

I am looking for a Trainee Software Developer based in Milton Keynes.

If you are looking for an opportunity to work for a fun and exciting company, where everyone loves what they do. If you have software testing and developing experience or have previously worked on marketing software this role may be right opportunity for you.

The main purpose of the role is to maintain company systems and software's according to standards set within department.

Salary: £27,000-£30,000

Working pattern: Monday to Friday (08:30-17:00 – Hybrid)

Key Responsibilities:

Performing coding, maintenance and correction to technical and functional specification as well as correction where required
Building long lasting relationships with colleagues and clients
Following structured design and development procedures
Support team and users in delivery of the product before it's release
Supporting team with testing of the products
Understand all internal systems and product development procedures

To be successful in this role:

Experienced and comfortable with MS Office, especially Excel at an advanced level
Must have and understanding of software's and programming principles
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Some experience of PHP, Javascript and docker
Excellent communication skills
Enthusiasm for working with large, complex data sets
Previous experience in software testing or hobby in software solutions
Github or Gitlab in the SDLC experience welcome
