Job Title: Trainee IT Support Technician

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Trainee IT Support Technician to join our client, a Technology Services business based in Milton Keynes.

Job Description:

As a Trainee IT Support Technician, you will receive full training, and will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations of the technical support department. You will be involved in the setup, configuration and testing of new and used equipment which will also include diagnostics, repair, delivery, on-site installation and training on machines. Your main duties will include:

Job Duties:

Providing technical hardware support to users and assisting with hardware issues
Installing and configuring technical systems
Troubleshooting, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults
Assisting with system upgrades and maintenance tasks
Responding to service issues and requests in a timely manner
Required Qualifications:

Basic understanding of computer systems and hardware as you will be involved in setting up, configuring, testing & trouble shooting machines.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Must hold a Valid UK driving license.
If successful you can expect a salary of between £23,000 – £25,000 depending on your experience, as well as full on the job training to help you build a successful career within IT Hardware Support.

The role will be within Regular office hours, Monday to Friday, with some potential for occasional weekend or evening work during system upgrades or maintenance.
